Royal fans are getting excited today as the UK is less than 24 hours away from one of the biggest events on the royal calendar. On Saturday, Trooping the Colour celebrations will take place in the streets of London to mark the monarch’s official birthday.
The event will see a massive military parade take place, with senior royals appearing either on horseback or in horse-drawn carriages. They will also appear on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony to watch a Red Arrows flypast. While King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, will be at the heart of the celebrations, other popular royals will also be seen at the event tomorrow including Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 43.
The couple have also been tipped to bring their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, along, as they have done in previous years.
This often delights royal fans, especially as Prince Louis is known for showing his cheeky personality at events such as this, whether that be by dancing or pulling funny faces.
As reported by GB News, a source close to the Royal Family joked about who will be keeping Prince Louis in check during the celebrations on Saturday – Princess Charlotte.
They said: “Don’t worry, his sister will do that.”
This will not be the first time Charlotte has kept an eye on her younger brother, having made headlines last year when she seemingly told him off for dancing, to which the young prince appeared unfazed.
The princess has also seemingly told her brother off before when he did not put his hands straight by his sides for the national anthem, with the moment being caught on camera.
As the older sibling out of the three, it is likely George will also be looking out for his siblings throughout the day’s events.
