Prince Louis is celebrating his birthday today, as the Prince and Princess of Wales’s youngest child turns six.
The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed their second son – and third child – into the world on April 23, 2018.
Whether he’s pulling faces or yelling in delight, royal fans seem to love seeing Louis at royal events and how the young royal is adapting to royal life.
Despite being one of the youngest royals, the six-year-old has definitely earned his place as one of the public’s favourite – and most entertaining – royal.

Prince Louis attended the Princess of Wales’s Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey in December 2023. Although his siblings Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, eight have attended before, it was Louis’s first time attending the annual event. As the family-of-five stepped out, Louis couldn’t help but let his cheeky side out at one given opportunity. The now-six-year-old was spotted trying to blow out Charlotte’s candle as she stood next to him.
The young royal was seen puffing his cheeks and attempting to extinguish Princess Charlotte’s candle – much to his sister’s amusement. Charlotte didn’t appear fazed by her little brother and laughed along. Ever professional, Prince William and Princess Kate carried out with the appearance – but not without fans spotting the funny moment.

After walking into the King’s Coronation hand-in-hand with his sister, Prince Louis got relaxed in the front row alongside Charlotte and their parents. Much to the amusement of fans, the moment appeared a little too tiring for the then-five-year-old, who was spotted yawning during the service. After spotting the yawn, fans took to social after spying Louis’s relatable antic. One fan wrote on X: “Baby Prince Louis perfectly timed yawn. I’m dead. That’s going to be the people’s prince for sure.” Throughout the day, Louis was spotted yawning several more times, including whilst he was in the carriage on the way to the ceremony.
