Prince Harry's mad dash to see King Charles 'cost £18k' – and that's just the flights


Prince Harry will soon leave London to return to Los Angeles, having been spotted at Heathrow just one day after arriving in the UK.

And he may have spent up to £18,000 on flights alone, not including the additional cost of security and other transport.

Were he to fly with British Airways, the cost of a flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow today is £1,317 for an Economy seat, £2,685 for Premium Economy, £7,040 for Business, and £8,624 for First Class

A return flight tomorrow costs £1,458 for an Economy seat, £2,929 for Premium Economy, £7,284 for Business, and £8,868 for First Class.

This means that for a return Economy ticket the cost is £2,775, for return Premium Economy it is £5,618, for Business it is £14,324, and for First Class it is a whopping £17,492.

Prince Harry’s private security has been estimated by Forbes to cost around £1.5million to £2.3million a year.

All prices were found by the Express.co.uk on the British Airways website today (February 7).
