Prince Harry 'wants to return to the Royal Family' for key reason

Prince Harry wants to return to the Royal Family because “everything else has failed”, a royal expert claimed.

It comes as the Duke of Sussex attempts to overturn a decision by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures after it was ruled in 2020 that Harry would no longer receive personal police protection in the UK after stepping down as a working royal and moving to the US.

In a statement shared by his attorney this week, the Duke called the UK his “home” and said he wanted his children to feel “at home” in the country.

He added: “That cannot happen if it’s not possible to keep them safe when they are on UK soil.”

However, royal biographer Angela Levin slammed the Prince claiming that the move signified a want to return to the Royal Family and only because “everything else has failed” for the Duke.

Speaking on GB News, she opined: “The reason I feel that is because he’s actually talking nonsense. Because he’s saying that he and Meghan were forced out – which they weren’t at all. They wanted to leave, and they did so very quickly.”

“How much London is his home, and he wants his children to be here, to be relaxed, but they can’t be unless they get top protection.”

She continued: “And I thought to myself, if he starts doing that, it’s because everything else has failed. He wants to come back. He wants to be a member of the Royal Family again. But my goodness he’s a very changed Harry, and is going to do what he wants.”

Levin claimed Harry would look to go head-to-head with The Firm if he returned. She opined: “The fact that he’s got no respect for his father, no respect for his brother, I think he’s going to be a big danger because he will go in competition, in my belief, with the Royal Family themselves.”

The Prince’s statement on the issue was released during his three-day court case, against the Home Office. Harry wasn’t present for the proceedings.

Speaking of his and Meghan’s decision to step down as senior royals in 2020, Harry said it wasn’t easy and came with “great sadness” for both himself and Meghan.
