Prince Harry 'stuck between pleasing King Charles or Meghan' with 'huge mountain to climb'

Prince Harry is stuck between pleasing King Charles or Meghan Markle, claims royal expert Angela Levin. Earlier this week, Harry embarked on an 11-hour flight to Britain to reunite with his father, just hours after his cancer diagnosis was made public.

However, just 25 hours later, Harry was spotted at Heathrow Airport ready to board a flight back to his wife and their two children.

According to Ms Levin, Meghan is unlikely to have been too pleased that Harry made the trip back to the UK.

Speaking to GB News, she said: “Meghan is not coming with him and I think that Harry has a big mountain to climb if he does become very close to his father again.”

Ms Levin added: “I don’t think she will be pleased whatsoever. And he’s got this rock that he’s in, whether he upsets Meghan or he upsets his father.”

The royal biographer explained that she doesn’t think that the reunion between Harry and his father will end their estrangement.

She said: “I don’t think that will happen because Meghan will not let him.”

Prior to the public announcement, King Charles let both of his sons know about his unexpected diagnosis, as well as Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

A private phone call occurred between Harry and the King on Monday, prompting the Duke to catch an overnight flight to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex is known to have agreed to wait to travel to the UK until after Buckingham Palace had made the public announcement on Monday evening.

Prince Harry arrived at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday afternoon, with Harry travelling to Clarence House straight away to see his father.

Meghan decided to stay in the US with their two children – Prince Archie, 4, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.

With the Duchess of Sussex having not visited the UK since the late Queen’s funeral in September 2022, another expert said that she may choose never to visit the UK again.

Speaking to TALKTV, The Sun’s formal royal editor Charlie Ray said: “There is an awful lot going under the bridge and I know lots of families fall out over all sorts of things and sometimes there is a reconciliation and they put everything back, but we are way down that road now.

“I am also of the opinion that Meghan is unlikely [to ever] or rarely ever set foot back in the UK again.”
