Prince Harry 'should be back' in UK and Royal Family because Britain 'misses him'

A royal commentator suggested that Prince Harry should be back in the UK after the Royal Family was hit with the health bombshells of King Charles’s operation and Kate, the Princess of Wales stay of up to two weeks in hospital following her abdominal surgery.

Last Wednesday, Kensington Palace announced that Princess Kate had been admitted to hospital the day before for a successful and planned abdominal procedure, which would require her to stay there for up to 14 days and also be absent from royal duties until after Easter.

Prince William was said to have postponed his royal engagements too so he can be by his wife’s side and support their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Shortly afterwards, Buckingham Palace announced King Charles would be undergoing surgery for an enlarged prostate next week.

Now royal expert Michael Cole said the Duke of Sussex is notably “missing from the UK” and recalled how popular he was before his marriage to Meghan Markle and their move to the US.

He told GB News: “Let’s remember the happy prince, let us remember the prince we admired for doing two tours of arduous duty in Afghanistan.

Harry was extraordinarily popular, and then it all went sideways. It is very sad to see it brought to this particular stage.”

But Cole stressed the fact that the Duke has mentioned how much he misses Britain and added that Britain “misses him too in a way”.

He explained: “He misses a lot about this country. And in a way, I think we miss him too.”

He also said that following the latest health news about the royals, he could have played a very important role in helping the Firm.

The expert added: “Never say never, the prodigal son is always welcome. Perhaps he should be back here.”
