Prince Harry predicted to reach out to King Charles in the coming weeks

Prince Harry has yet to release a public statement about his father’s well-being, and it’s not expected to happen, but there is the chance that he may actually speak to King Charles, says royal writer Katie Nicholls.

Nicholls believes “there will be a dialogue between Harry and his father” in the coming weeks, reports ET Online.

The royal expert says: ”Whatever’s happened between them, Harry will be concerned for his father. It’s still his father. He’s still gone in for an operation. Yes, a pretty standard one, but a procedure nonetheless.”

She adds: “One wonders if this might just be the opening that’s needed for a bit more dialogue between the couple and the king, and possibly even Princess Catherine.”

Harry and Meghan Markle sent their well-wishes to King Charles and Princess Kate, following their health scares, it’s being reported by The Mirror, but did so in a private manner.

Daily Express spoke to Even the Royals podcast host Brooke Siffrinn, who said of Harry issuing a statement, “As with most things Prince Harry says and does, it’s a classic example of damned if you do, damned if you don’t.”

The Sussexes were very quiet at the end of the year, and the start of this year, but then surprisingly popped up in Jamaica for a movie premiere, which caused a bit of a ruckus. Now, it appears they’ve gone back to keeping a low-profile.

Nicholls comments on the recent turn of events, saying, “I think this is just a sign of the times. This is a modern monarchy, doing the sorts of things that other families do.”

She adds: “I think that’s again an indication of the sort of normality that exists behind palace walls and behind those closed doors, that sort of insight into a family that we don’t necessarily see, but does exist, and and is indicative of a very, very close family.”

The question still remains, whether or not Harry would like to be a part of this “very, very close family.”
