Prince Harry looks glum after King Charles cancer trip despite joking at NFL awards

Looking confident and relaxed, Harry joked about NFL players “taking a breather every 15 seconds” and, referencing the short season compared to other sports, said: “Instead of a 10-month season, let’s just make it 18 weeks. Genius.”

He added: “Joking aside, what you do on and off the field is remarkable. You are role models for millions in the way you carry yourselves and give back.”

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Harry’s supporters were quick to remark on how happy and contented he looked. Some even said that he appears to be “living his best life” in the US.

One fan wrote: “Prince Harry is living his best life [red-heart emoji].”

Another commented: “Wow look, Prince Harry passing out NFL awards [red-heart emoji]. Living his best life. Las Vegas baby.”

Still, the snaps of him in the elevator could tell Prince Harry’s true feelings.

He looked upset when no one was seemingly looking.

The former royal could’ve put on a face during his time on stage but could be seriously worried about his father behind the scenes.

Charles’s bombshell cancer diagnosis came only 10 days after he was treated for an enlarged prostate in London.

However, palace aides confirmed the treatment was not linked to the shock diagnosis.

They also added that his current condition is not prostate cancer.

Charles is said to have told all of his immediate family as early as possible, including his siblings and children.

Still, body language expert says Prince Harry was in top form despite recently seeing his father.

Analysing his appearance exclusively for the Express, body language expert Judi James said the royal showed that he was “excited” to be there.

She said: “After some anxious-looking body language as he arrived to visit his father in the UK, Harry appears to be on top form here, adopting a pose associated with stand-up comics as he delivers his speech at the NFL awards.”

“His eye contact is direct with the audience and there seems to be no desire to stand behind the small podium as he scopes his hands out, fingers pointing upward, to suggest confidence, with his lips opened and curled up to display upper and lower teeth in a rather naughty, congruent smile of what looks like excitement and delight.

“His greeting ritual with the winner is sportsman-macho, with a hug and then this bicep clasp to reflect Harry’s duck-to-water approach to any sporting events.”
