Prince Harry LIVE: Duke prepares to attend Invictus Games event solo as royals snub invite

Prince Harry is preparing to attend a special event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in the UK today but will do so solo as members of the Royal Family reportedly snubbed his invite.

Page Six reported multiple sources said the Duke of Sussex had “invited them all” to the event taking place at St Paul’s Cathedral in London to celebrate a decade of his charity that honours wounded veterans and their families.

The outlet reported a “well-placed London socialite” who knows Harry and Prince William confirmed the Duke had invited his older brother and other members of the Royal Family to attend the service.

But no senior members of the Firm are expected at the event that will also see Harry give a reading. Meghan Markle has also not made the trip with her husband.

On Tuesday, Harry’s spokesperson said he would not be meeting King Charles due to His Majesty’s “full programme”, adding: “The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
