Prince Harry 'hurt' by King Charles and wants to change after 'going too far' with attacks

Prince Harry is rethinking his behaviour after realising he was “going too far” with his criticism of the Royal Family, according to one royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex, who travelled to the UK after King Charles’s cancer diagnosis was made public last month, was “hurt” that he only got to spend half an hour with his father.

After returning home to the US, Harry then flew to Canada for the one-year countdown of the 2025 Invictus Games. During this three-day trip, Harry gave an interview with Good Morning America – but seemingly refused to comment on his father’s health.

When asked about the King’s condition, Harry replied: “That stays between me and him.”

Royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror that this refusal to speak out shows that Harry is aware that he has “gone too far” with his attacks in the past.

Mr Quinn said: “Harry’s refusal to go into detail about his father’s illness on Good Morning America is definitely a sign that he knows he has gone too far in the past.

“He was hurt that he only got to spend thirty minutes with his father on his recent visit and that officials made it clear that he was not really wanted.”

With this, Mr Quinn now says that this has made Harry reconsider his behalf in hopes of reconciliation.

He said: “This has made him completely re-think how he behaves – he’s going to try to be a new, restrained, more reticent royal but only so long as his efforts are recognised by the family.”

Harry’s visit to the UK last just 25 hours, with him spotted back at Heathrow Airport just one day after arriving in the UK. The former working royal also took the trip alone – with wife Meghan Markle opting to remain in the US with their two children.
