Prince Harry has 'baggage' that Prince William doesn't have 'bandwidth' to deal with

Prince William is currently working through too much in his personal life to deal with Prince Harry’s upcoming visit to the UK, according to a royal author.

The Duke of Sussex will likely return to the UK for a May 8 celebration at St. Paul’s Cathedral to mark the 10-year anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Speculation is still swirling as to whether he will reunite with the Royal Family, particularly his older brother William.

The pair’s relationship has deteriorated, prompted by claims Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have made against the Royal Family.

Royal author Christopher Andersen said, despite Prince Harry being “eager to return” to the UK, it is highly unlikely that a brotherly reunion is on the cards.

He said: “He simply doesn’t have the bandwidth to deal with the baggage that inevitably accompanies Harry.”

William is currently privately dealing with Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis, which came shortly after King Charles’s. Both health issues have left him dealing with an “enormous responsibility” that will prevent him from seeing Prince Harry.

The royal author claimed that seeing Prince Harry would only be a “distraction” from his current focus – looking after his family.

He added: “Keep in mind that the Prince of Wales is saddled with the enormous responsibility of holding both his family and the monarchy together while his wife and father cope with their serious medical issues.

“Having the ‘spare’ back in the royal fold would simply be an enormous distraction, despite his good intentions.”

Prince Harry previously visited the UK in February for a 45-minute visit with his father King Charles. Andersen claimed that Prince William “refused” to see his brother during his fleeting visit two months ago.
