Prince Harry clue to when Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could return to the UK

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could return to the UK later this year, to mark a very special occasion.

The Duke of Sussex is said to be planning a trip to London for the tenth anniversary of his charity, the Invictus Games, in May.

Although his wife Meghan Markle is said to be “apprehensive” about returning to the UK, the mother-of-two could be set to join her husband for the special celebration.

Speaking to OK!, a source said: “Harry is keen for his whole family to join him [in the UK].”

Residing in the US, Archie and Lilibet have spent very little time in the UK and have not joined their parents on any recent trips.

Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, are last thought to have been in the UK in June 2022, marking the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Lilibet, who was born in the US in 2021, is believed to have celebrated her first birthday during the visit.

The source added: “It’s important to [Harry] that they show a united front and focus on building bridges with the rest of the Royal Family.”

They also added that Harry is said to be in “government-like talks” to return to the UK for a special service to mark the milestone anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Speaking of Meghan’s possible return, the source added: “The move to bring the Invictus Games back to Britain is seen as an opportunity for Harry and he is very keen to take it.

“He is adamant that he wants Meghan and the children to join him, but I think she may be apprehensive and I think she finds being in the UK very uncomfortable.”

The source added: “I think Meghan knows that she hasn’t been wanted in the past so why would it be any different this time around?

“The couple know they won’t be able to repair things with the Prince and Princess of Wales just yet, but there is hope that the King will be able to bring the families closer together.”

While Harry returning may not come as a surprise, the idea of Meghan returning to Britain may shock some fans.

It was previously claimed that Meghan vowed that she would “never step foot in England again”.

Just like Archie and Lilibet, Meghan hasn’t been to the UK since 2022.

She attended the late Queen’s funeral in September 2022, alongside the rest of the Royal Family and Harry.
