Prince Harry being ‘blackballed’ by Firm as royals could forgive but will ‘never forget’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry was said to be “blackballed” by the Royal Family because they do not trust him or his wife, Meghan Markle, reports have claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been estranged from the Royal Family since their sensational departure in 2020.

Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Firm has become increasingly frosty following their various claims against them, with the latest incident taking place last week, when Harry gave a bombshell interview to the BBC after he lost a Court of Appeal challenge over his security arrangements while in the UK. The duke appeared emotional as he said that the King will not speak to him and that he does not know how much longer the monarch, who was diagnosed with cancer last February, has left.

He said: “There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family”. Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things but there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”

Now, a royal source has claimed that the royals have “major trust issues” with the estranged duke, which will likely never go away.

They added that while the Firm could forgive Harry in the future, they will most likely “not forget”.

The source told Page Six: “I genuinely think nobody trusts him and that’s the bottom line.

“The Royal Family has major trust issues with him, and that’s what’s at the heart of everything.

“They don’t trust him and Meghan and that’s why they can’t have a relationship … maybe there’s room to forgive, but they won’t forget. Forgiveness and trust are two different things.”

In his bombshell interview, Harry said that the King “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff”, but that he did not want to fight any more and did “not know how much longer my father has”.

After Harry’s interview aired, Buckingham Palace said in a blunt statement: “All these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion on each occasion.”
