Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's move reveals their 'calculated agenda', says expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a “calculated agenda” to suit their publicity, claims US journalist Lee Cohen.

Despite the ongoing feud, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly contacted both King Charles and the Princess of Wales following news of their health scares last month.

Speaking to GB News about Meghan and Harry’s reported act, Mr Cohen said that, if the reports are accurate, the act would not “repair all of their countless sins of the past”.

Speaking alongside Mr Cohen, host Nana Akua branded the couple’s reported show of support as “laughable”.

Mr Cohen added: “It’s difficult to get into Harry’s head. Clearly he’s not guided by a moral compass. He’s guided, I believe, rather by a financial compass and a publicity driven compass.”

Speaking of Harry’s position, he added: “How many people are fortunate enough to occupy tanks of Royal Highness, to serve the people, to serve the country? And he’s willing to give that all up.”

Discussing the couple’s reputation in the US – which is where they have lived since 2020 – Mr Cohen said that the country has shown disdain for their “disloyalty”.

He said: “Here [US], just like Britain, we really have no appetite for disloyalty, and Harry has unforgivably sold out his family and his heritage for monetary gain.

“He’s been disloyal to family, to country, to everything that Americans and Britons hold dear.”

Meghan and Harry announced their plans to step down from royal duties four years ago – in January 2020.

The couple then moved to the US, shortly after completing their final royal engagement in March 2020.

They now live in California with their two children – Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.
