Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s family relationships are 'at rock bottom', expert says

The Duke and Duchess of Sussexes’ relationship with their respective families is almost “non-existent” and at “rock bottom” royal commentators claim. Michael Cole, speaking to GB News said the duo had possibly damaged their relationships “beyond repair.”

Mr Cole said: “It is interesting to note that Meghan is not on speaking terms with any of her family apart from her mother and a niece.” He added: “Nobody else in her family speaks to her and she does not speak to them.”

The royal commentator added: “Likewise the relationship between Prince Harry and his family is hardly existing at this moment, which is not surprising considering the criticism that has been laid about the Royal Family from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since they departed from the royal circle.”

Speaking of any signs of future reconciliation, Mr Cole said: “It is difficult to see how those relationships are going to be mended without some apologies on the part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They are showing no signs of that.”

Also speaking about the royal couple’s relations was royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, who pointed to the release of Omid Scobie’s controversial book Endgame as the hammer blow to the couple’s relationship with the British Royal Family.

Speaking to GB News, Mr Fitzwilliams said: “Endgame clearly illustrates how utterly irresponsible the Sussexes are.” Commenting on their relationship with the royals, he added: “Frankly, it is at rock bottom.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been publicly feuding with both the Markles and the Royal Family for several years.

Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, has never met the couple’s children, despite making public pleas and TV appearances asking to see them.

The relationship between Meghan and her father has been strained for nearly five years now. The father and daughter are not believed to have spoken during that time. Following the release of Omid Scobie’s explosive book Endgame on November 28, there has been increased pressure on Harry and Meghan to speak out.
