Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'silence' to 'mockery' exposes huge error, warns expert

Mark Boardman said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s absence from the Golden Globes could be seen as a clever move from the humiliation of being mocked, particularly on a global stage.

“The lack of public appearances amongst fellow celebrities and peers could be a sign of a move away for a re-brand with a fresh start for Meghan.

But the MarkMeets founder warned: “Unfortunately, mockery, particularly on a global stage, can have a significant impact on public image.

“The reactions to such incidents are likely to be diverse, with some individuals finding it amusing, while others may view it negatively and will remember this for a very long time to the detriment of the power couple.

“Public figures such as the Sussex’s have to navigate a delicate balance between public acclaim and criticism, and all too often remain silent on the matter, which for me is a sign that they do not know how to handle such situations which can influence public perception.”

Meanwhile, a royal expert has claimed Harry and Meghan have embraced a “bewildering” silence when it comes to sharing details about their plans for their multi-year Netflix deal.

So far, their Archewell Productions has delivered a six-part docuseries about their decision to quit the Royal Family and a documentary on Harry’s work with the Invictus Games.

In November, Meghan teased the couple have been working on multiple projects during a surprise outing but none have been promoted publicly or given a release date.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News: “It is rather bewildering their silence. They can turn it around if they come up with some work.

“The only thing they are doing as far as I can see with Invictus, Prince Harry already had that.”

Fitzwilliams added: “So they have not done anything, they lost Spotify. Will they lose Netflix? The contract runs out in 2025.”
