Prince Harry and Meghan Markle put on 'uniformed double act' in never-before-seen photo

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a never-before-seen photo from glitzy gala event in Canada last week.

Flying to Canada for a three-day visit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Whistler for an event to celebrate the one-year countdown for the 2025 Invictus Games.

Although it stands as Harry’s solo initiative, Meghan, 42, was on hand to support her husband to mark the occasion.

Meghan and Harry attended a celebratory gala at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Canada – with the couple now sharing a previously-unseen picture from the evening.

Meghan can be seen wearing a gorgeous olive green dress and looking up lovingly at her husband. Harry – who launched the Invictus Games in 2014 – appears fixed on what is happening around him.

Whilst at the gala, the couple were presented with two “special hand woven blankets” for their children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.

Undoubtedly missing their children, the couple accepted the sweet gifts. According to their new website sussex.com – which launched last week – the blankets were given to Meghan and Harry so that their children can “wrap themselves up when they miss their parents and be reminded of the good work they are doing”.

The Duke of Sussex, who will soon celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, also gave some heartfelt remarks.

Include in the couple’s new update, which was titled ‘Thank You Canada’, Harry had said: “The Invictus Games are not just a competition; they’re a way of life… a celebration of the human spirit.

“The games provide a platform for us to showcase your abilities, to inspire the world, and honour the sacrifices of those we have lost.

“It is a reminder that we are not defined by our injuries, but by our strength, our commitment, and our ability to overcome adversity.”

Speaking to the Mirror, body language expert Judi James said that Meghan and Harry showed they are a “unified double act” with their appearance at the gala.

Harry and Meghan flew into Canada on February 14 for a three-day trip.

The couple travelled without their two children in tow, with them likely being looked after by loved ones in the US.

The 2025 Invictus Games will take place in Canada, a place that holds a special place in both Meghan and Harry’s hearts.

The couple first moved to Canada after stepping down as senior working royals in 2020.
