Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'in extremely high demand' sources close to couple claim

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be in “high demand” as they hope for a “year of redemption” – according to sources close to the couple.

Meghan Markle’s return to acting was questioned this week after she made a cameo in an advert for a coffee brand – leaving some questioning whether it was an attempt to delve back into the showbiz world.

But one source told US Weekly that Meghan and husband Prince Harry were in “extremely high demand” as they receive numerous offers for various speaking engagements, as well as business and entertainment collaborations.

Meghan teased the possibility of returning to the television industry after appearing at a “Power of Women” gala – alongside Hollywood actors – in Los Angeles last month.

As she walked the red carpet, the Duchess said she and Prince Harry, 39, “have so many exciting things on the slate”.

“I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating. My husband is loving it too, which is really fun,” she added.

She added that she was “thrilled” to return to the entertainment industry.

Before joining the Royal Family, Meghan starred in popular US legal drama Suits, with the show gaining more prominence having been added to Netflix in recent months.

The couple faced a number of career setbacks this year, with their Spotify deal falling through and Harry’s memoir Spare causing backlash after he made a number of claims against members of his family.

A recent report also revealed the couple’s Archewell Foundation suffered an £8.7million drop in donations in 2023.

Despite this, Meghan is said to be focused on rebuilding the charity, adding that she remains “laser focused” on “falling in line with the Archewell initiative”.

Some questioned whether the couple would continue their series with Netflix, but according to sources they plan on staying behind the camera as executive producers creating “fictional, scripted content”.
