Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have 'one year left' to get cash as their expenses spiral

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in a race against time as they have just one year left to make their Netflix deal a success or face financial difficulties.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who moved to Montecito, California after stepping down as senior royals, have been busy with various media projects including deals with Spotify, Netflix, and Penguin Random House.

However, despite Meghan hinting at “exciting things on the slate” last year after their Spotify deal ended last year and their Netflix deal is due to end next year unless they can secure a renewal.

A source revealed to Closer Magazine that the couple is facing “crunch time” as they’ve got one year left to “produce and impress Netflix enough to keep them on”.

The royal couple are “scrambling” to pitch content to the streaming giant as their expenses are sprialling “out of control”.

The famous couple, Harry and Meghan, worked on their six-part docuseries, which was released in December 2022. Harry also worked on his Heart of Invictus documentary, but it didn’t make the top 10 on Netflix.

Despite rumours that the Sussexes might be worried about their Netflix contract ending, there could be a silver lining. There’s buzz that they might sign with Paramount Pictures after they were spotted at the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Kingston, Jamaica.

Brian Robbins, the boss of Paramount Pictures, is said to be pals with the Sussexes and invited them to the glamorous event last Tuesday. Brian has a house in Montecito, the same area where Harry and Meghan live.
