Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have 'no plan' for 2024 as even friends are left clueless

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no plan for 2024 as even friends are left clueless according to a royal expert.

Speaking on Palace Confidential, Rebecca English said that even those close to the Duke and Duchess weren’t sure what they were going to do.

Ms English said: “I think even those who are [in the inner circle] don’t really know what those plans are. In doing what they’ve done they’ve lost so much credibility.

“There’s a lot for them to claw back and it would be really interesting to see how toxic they are or not as a brand, as a commercially attractive brand now which is what they want to be.

“I think the only things we’ve heard about are them being handed a production deal by Netflix for a film. Apart from that, there’s not a lot.”

Alongside trying to expand their brand, one PR expert said the pair must try and rebuild bridges and become more relatable to increase their chances of success.

Speaking to Newsweek, Mark Boardman said: “Looking ahead to 2024, one can anticipate a change in team working on better-thought-out projects that showcase a more relatable side to both Harry and Meghan, if they really want to make their lifestyle choice a permanent thing.

“The success of Prince Harry’s documentary Heart of Invictus serves as a model for what we might expect in the future.

“A return to social media, more openness, and reaching out to their close friends and families for the mess they have caused is what they both need to get right first if they are to make amends and win back public affection. “

As 2024 nears, other experts have said that it could be a “seismic” year for the couple and is so important that it is make or break for them.

Crisis manager Mark Borkowski told MailOnline that the year could be the “undoing” of the brand and could “gone one of two ways”.

He explained: “Something is beginning to unwind at the heart of Meghan and Harry. I think 2024 is going to be seismic, either because they’re going to do something to recover and find a new positive tactic or it’s going to be the undoing of the brand.”

He said “it can only go one of two ways” because what Harry and Meghan were doing at the moment was “clearly not working”.

Some believe that Harry may try and reach out to King Charles more next year and even return to the UK.

In a statement released earlier this year, Harry reportedly dropped a clue that he could move from his current home in Montecito, USA back to Britain.

In a statement, he wrote: “The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place where I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the US.

“That cannot happen if it’s not possible to keep them safe when they are on UK soil.”
