Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could move to this country if Duke is 'kicked out of US'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might consider returning to Canada if the Duke of Sussex encounters challenges with his US visa application, a royal correspondent said.

Currently, Harry’s visa application to enter the United States is under review, after bombshell drug-taking revelations he made in his tell-all memoir.

In Spare, the Duke of Sussex admitted to taking drugs in the past, after previously opening up about narcotics use. But this threatens to end his plans of becoming a US citizen.

Former GB News Royal Correspondent Michael Cole believes the Sussexes might consider moving to Canada if they are forced out of the US.

Cole told GB News: “So of course an admission in a book isn’t sworn evidence, it’s not testimony. But it is fairly strong circumstantial evidence that he took drugs.

“And if it is revealed that he did not tell the truth in his visa form, the Americans vigilate their immigration very seriously, unlike this country, and he could be kicked out of the country, his visa could be annulled and he could be asked to leave America promptly.”

When asked where the Sussexes may go if they are removed from America, the former Royal Correspondent suggested they may “go back to Canada”, but their authorities “won’t be happy to pick up the bill for security”.

He added: “With Donald Trump, you’re either in or out, you’re either friend or foe. If he regards you as a foe, he will do his best to act against you, there’s no doubt about it. It’s as clear as night from day. It’s very serious matter.”

In an exclusive interview with Daily Express US, Trump said he was furious at the Joe Biden administration for “protecting Harry” by keeping his immigration application confidential.

He said: “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me.”

Trump also believes the Royal Family had been “too gracious” to Harry after “what he has done”.
