Prince Harry and Meghan Markle branded 'resentful' of 'calculated campaign against them'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed as “easily offended” and “resentful” by royal author Robert Hardman.

Hardman’s book ‘Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story’ was released last week.

The royal author was asked on GB News Breakfast why he thinks the Sussexes are “easily offended and effectively pretty prickly”.

He responded: “They’re repost to any given situation in their books and their TV interviews, you see time and again that they feel resentful.

Hardman expressed hope for Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK, even if he doesn’t see them as part of the Firm anymore.

He said: “I can’t envisage a situation where they’re back as part of the royal working unit, but I can certainly see it becoming a kind of normal thing for them to keep coming back.”

Hardman’s book, Charles III: New King, New Court, The Inside Story, also addresses the late Queen’s reaction to Meghan and Prince Harry using her private nickname for their daughter, Lilibet.

According to him, the Queen was “angrier than I had ever seen her.” He said: “The Queen was very upset” and explained that this stemmed from the suggestion that the couple had “asked permission” rather than simply using the name.
