Prince Harry and Meghan LIVE: Duke's meeting with Charles to be cut short for one event

Prince Harry will visit with his father King Charles while in the UK this week but one royal expert has predicted the chat will be cut short due to a major event.

The Duke of Sussex will travel to the UK for the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8 – Meghan Markle won’t be joining him and will instead meet her husband in Nigeria.

Harry will, however, be joining King Charles for a meeting – his first since February when Prince Harry rushed back to the UK after his father announced his cancer diagnosis. But one royal expert claimed the Prince’s meeting this week could be cut short.

Royal expert and Prince Harry biographer Angela Levin said: “Last time he was here very quickly and rushed out – he saw his father for some people say 20 minutes, some say half an hour. This time, it’s going to be particularly awkward because the service at St Paul’s Cathedral is going to finish at 6 o’clock [PM].”

Speaking to GB News, she said: “The first garden party of the year – which King Charles is going to go to – also finishes at 6. That lasts 4-6pm, the party… I imagine he’s going to be exhausted. After that, he’s going to talk with the Prime Minister. I don’t see how that can be squashed in, he’s not going to see somebody very late.”
