Prince Harry and Meghan LIVE: Duchess warned she could be 'vilified' over brand launch

Meghan Markle has been warned she is in danger of being “vilified” over the timing around the launch of her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and could delay its rollout until after an upcoming visit to the UK.

The Duchess of Sussex could join Prince Harry on a trip to London with her husband likely to attend an event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games on May 8.

It could also see the Sussexes bring their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in a move that may also see them spend time with the Royal Family.

But royal commentator Kinsey Schofield believes Meghan may have launched her new venture too quickly and could pause its rollout to avoid looking like she is cashing in on her title while King Charles and Princess Kate battle cancer.

She told Daily Express US: “I do think American Rivera Orchard and the Instagram account were launched too quickly. Meghan knows that if she appears even remotely opportunistic while the Royal Family has a cancer cloud hovering, she will be vilified, and it will result in another very public professional failure.”
