Prince Harry and Meghan blasted as 'fibbers' by Caprice as she praises elegant Kate

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed by Caprice Bourret, who claimed the pair are “relentless” and felt they were “fibbers” in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk. The 52-year-old previously said the couple made her “want to vomit” and when quizzed on the comment, it turns out she had a lot more to say.

Caprice began by saying she is “a real royalist” who believes the “Royal Family is the best asset that we have” as she slammed critics who claim they do nothing. Reflecting on the drama that has unfolded since Harry and Meghan quit their senior duties in 2020, the mother-of-two hit out over “fibs” she felt they had told.

She shared: “The woman is just absolutely relentless. They jump on that bandwagon every two seconds and the only connection they have is the connection to the royals, that’s all they’ve ever made money from.” Caprice went on to say she found fallouts from both sides of the families “really sad” and questioned how Meghan could now “rebrand” herself, as reports claim she’s doing.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex scaled back on their senior duties at the start of 2020 and moved to America to start a new life with son Archie, now four, followed by two-year-old daughter Lilibet. Shortly after their move, the couple hit the headlines after making a series of claims about life in the royal family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

One of their most shocking bombshells from the chat was when Meghan said a member of the institution had “concerns” about the colour of their son’s skin ahead of his birth. Harry confirmed the alleged conversation did happen, but said he would never share the name of who allegedly said it. Meghan also claimed she was silenced by the institution and denied help when she was suffering with her mental health.

In a rare right of reply, the late Queen saidwere “saddened” to hear of Meghan and Harry’s challenges and stated “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members”. She also remarked that “some recollections may vary” when it came to the issues and concerns raised in their interview.

In more recent times, the couple fronted a six-part Netflix series documenting their relationship timeline from courtship to their exit from royalty and their present life in America.

Before the documentary was released, the couple faced criticism about the 63-second promo which reportedly used scenes from moments they were not involved in.

Other parts of the series were picked apart by experts and eagle-eyed viewers including one scene in which Meghan said she “rarely wore colour” due to alleged royal protocol, but was pictured many times in colourful outfits.

Sharing her thoughts, Caprice believes the couple “panic” when they’re not in the press and then “come out with another doozy”. She added: “I mean actions speak louder than words right? There’s no smoke without fire and she keeps giving them things to write about.

“The only way they can get in the press when it’s relating to Harry’s family. And the dignified silence, I don’t know how they do it, I’d be going nuts!

“It’s all nonsense too, then eventually we find out it’s all a lie about when Meghan Markle went to court.”

Caprice seemed to be referring to Meghan’s apology in court over an unintended misleading statement in her privacy case against the Mail on Sunday’s publishers, which she went on to win.

“There were so many things she got caught up in actually, she got caught with little fibbers everywhere,” the model felt.

“It’s just relentless with that couple. I think the fact that I said that [her previous comment] is totally justified.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Meghan and Harry for comment.

During our the model also took issue with author Omid Scobie who claimed the Princess Of Wales has the nickname “Katie Keen”.

She added: “It really made me mad when this Scobie said she is keen Kate, I mean… she is the most elegant! I love the fact that the Royal Family don’t take a political stance.

“The politicians in this world are doing my head in, I think the Royal Family is the best asset that we have.

“They are the most famous family in the world. If we didn’t have them, we would not be on the map.”
