Prince George, Charlotte and Louis play this very cheeky prank on Prince William | Royal | News

Prince William has revealed new details about his children this week after attending a royal engagement in Liverpool.

The Prince of Wales, 42, took the train to the city on Thursday to visit key organisations that help young people in the area.

One of these organisations was Cycle of Life, a charity that helps young people improve their physical and mental health through cycling.

During his visit, the dad-of-three helped to pump up a bike tyre and tested the brakes on the bike he worked on.

He then went on to talk about a prank his three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, play on him during family bike rides.

After explaining that he normally squeezes both brakes at the same time to test whether they work, he said his children prefer to do something else on their own bikes.

He said: “My children quite like pulling just the back brake and sliding along. Usually, the back wheel will come past you. There is a technique.”

Later in the day on a second visit, the prince revealed more information about the three royal children to a group of primary school children, giving fans an insight into George, Charlotte and Louis’ school life.

The three children attend Lambrook School together, having started at the school in 2022 after the family relocated to a cottage on the Windsor Castle estate.

While the children are believed to enjoy school life, William expressed how they show the same enthusiasm as most children do at the end of the school day.

He told a group of primary school children that everyday he always asks his children what they have learnt, to which all three of them reply: “Nothing”.

Despite being the future King and Queen of the UK and Commonwealth, it is believed Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 43, do the school run most days, and try to keep life as ordinary as possible for the young royals.

William has tried to bring a bit of this ordinary aspect into his working life, having taken the train to and from Liverpool on Thursday rather than the usual royal transport method of a helicopter.
