Files from more than 170 people involved are set to have their testimony made public. In January 2022, after Andrew lost his bid to quash Ms Giuffre’s sex abuse lawsuit, he was stripped of his military affiliations and royal patronages.
Last week, Andrew was photographed with his family, including ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, on their traditional Christmas Day walk to church. The move was seen by many as a sign Andrew was working his way back into public life.
Maxwell, 62, is currently serving 20 years in a Florida jail for sex trafficking.
Billionaire paedophile Epstein took his life in prison in August 2019.
Andrew accepted no liability in the settlement with Ms Giuffre and denies all allegations of sexual impropriety.
