It was during this pub stop where William spoke about his desire for change in the future, claiming it is on his “agenda”.
He told Eugene: “Change for good, and I embrace that and I enjoy that change. I don’t fear it, that’s the bit that excites me – the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think need to happen.”
While he did not state what changes he will undertake, it is believed he is already thinking ahead to the future.
This raises the question – do you think Prince William will make a good King? Vote below or here.
Elsewhere in The Reluctant Traveler episode, William also addressed how he would want some traditions to continue during his leadership.
He told Eugene: “I think it’s very important that tradition stays, and tradition has a huge part in all of this, but there’s also points where you look at tradition and go, is that still fit for purpose today?”
He also said that he wants to make a difference to people’s lives “for the better”.
Episode four of The Reluctant Traveller With Eugene Levy, called Living the Royal Life in the UK, is available to watch on Apple TV+.
