Piers Morgan branded a 'bully' by Baby Reindeer's 'real-life' Martha after tense interview

Piers Morgan has been branded a “bully” ahead of the screening of his interview with the woman who allegedly inspired the character of Martha in Baby Reindeer. The interviewee is expected to talk candidly to TalkTV broadcaster Piers about her experiences of being labelled as comedian Richard Gadd’s alleged “stalker”.

However, it doesn’t seem that she’s had a good experience going head-to-head with him, as she later took to Facebook to describe him as a bully. The woman, whom Express.co.uk has chosen not to name, wrote: “Piers is a twerp. But we [already] know this. You will see in my interview.”

She continued that she would let the 30-minute broadcast “speak for itself”. “Piers is a bully, we all know that. He triggers emotions. But this interview will get more views,” she wrote.

Then, referring to other high-profile guests he’s had on his show, she added: “By far most of his other interviews with all misogynist men he often defends Andrew Tate Donald Trump.” (sic). However, last November, Piers responded to the backlash sparked by his interview with Andrew, saying that he’d actually held him to account over his views.

He claimed on TalkTV of the influencer, who is currently facing charges in Romania of rape, sex trafficking, and forming a criminal gang to exploit females: “With these kinds of characters, the more light you shine on them the better, actually. The more you actually hold their feet to the fire a bit.”

Viewers will have to wait until Piers’ interview airs this evening to see whether they agree with the “real-life” Martha’s portrayal of Piers.

In Baby Reindeer, Richard plays a fictional character based on himself called Donny Dunn, who is being relentlessly followed and stalked.

The show is billed as being based on a true story and portrays Martha being sent to jail multiple times for stalking offences.

On the other hand, the woman who believes herself to be the one the character is based on has never been jailed but did apparently receive a police warning for her conduct towards Richard.

Express.co.uk has approached Piers Morgan’s team for comment.
