PGA Championship 2023 live updates: Leader Bryson DeChambeau set to tee off in Round 2

A competitive opening round yielded a crowded list of names atop the leaderboard as the second round of the PGA Championship got underway Friday at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.

As the winds start to pick up in the afternoon, LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau’s clubhouse lead on Thursday at 4-under 66 has so far held up, despite an early charge from Justin Rose.

PGA Tour newcomer Eric Cole held the overnight lead at 5-under through 14 holes as Thursday’s play was halted due to darkness. He ended up falling back to 3-under as he completed his opening round 67, falling into a tie for second with Corey Conners, Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler.
