Speaking on behalf of Fruity Slots, the former royal butler said: “Eugenie is very close to William and Harry, she always has been, always will be.
“I’m sure that if she could, she would probably try to play peacekeeper with William and Harry, but it’s hard to say as we don’t know exactly what is going on behind closed doors.
“I’m sure if she can help, she probably would try and intervene between the two of them, if she can help bring the brothers back together, of course she would.
“She’s their cousin and she cares about them both deeply.”
Meanwhile, another royal expert said the prospect of a reconciliation between Harry and William is “not possible”, even with the influence of Eugenie or their other cousin, Zara Tindall as long as the duke and Meghan are together.
US journalist Lee Cohen claimed Harry and Meghan’s “betrayals and disloyalty are unforgivable”.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, he said: “As long as Harry and Meghan are together reconciliation with the Royal Family is not possible no matter the well-meaning influence of the cousins.”
