Omid Scobie should 'pipe down and shut up' about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Jodie Marsh has shut down claims she ever partied with former showbiz journalist Omid Scobie.

It comes as the Endgame author sparked furious backlash when two members of the Royal Family were named in a Dutch translation of his book on its release last month.

The former glamour model, 44, fumed at Omid in a new interview, saying he was “bang out of order” with his treatment towards the royals in his new book about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Jodie told The Sun: “Please don’t associate me with him – I don’t like what he’s doing to the Royals. I don’t agree with it.

“I think it’s bang out of order. I think he needs to just pipe down and shut up and let the Royals get on with their lives, because what he’s doing is toxic and I am not his friend.”

Jodie and Omid are reported to have met on the nightclub scene while the latter worked as a reporter for Heat magazine but the former model admitted she has no recollection of them ever meeting.

Omid, 42, repeatedly denied naming the two royals in an early version of his book but later admitted an “early and uncleared text” was given to the publisher in the Netherlands so they could begin translations.

His book also claimed there is “still a war” between Prince Harry and King Charles, but that Harry is usually the one who reaches out.

According to Omid he “always just wanted to be a byline” and has denied claims that he is a “mouthpiece” or a “cheerleader” for the Sussexes.

“I was more than happy to burn my bridges to tell this story because I think that to tell the best version of it you have to shine a light in the darkest places,” he told the New York Times.

“But I also realise that the outcome of that was being essentially blacklisted from things with the palace moving forward. Which I’m absolutely OK with.”

It has since been reported that King Charles, is “open” to inviting Meghan and Harry to join the family’s festive celebrations.

After a “warm” phone call between Harry and his father in November, which was reported as “polite” and saw the King “exchange awkward pleasantries” with Meghan, it’s believed the couple are keen to spend Christmas in the UK.
