Nathan Aspinall opened up on competing with dartitis after securing his first Premier League win in an epic comeback over Luke Humphries.
“I spoke to Wayne (Mardle) before and I have got a few issues and, yeah, sometimes it doesn’t look pretty on TV or whatever but but I have found a way to cope with it,” Aspinall said. “Mark (Webster) will back me up, he has been through what I have been through.
“And I have found a way to cope with it. Yeah sometimes it isn’t pretty but I am winning and I am winning tournaments. It’s one of them, you either quit, give up and go home or you make it part of your game. I’m so happy, I’m in a good place and winning. Five weeks ago I was really struggling and said to Kirsty: ‘I can’t be doing this anymore’.
“But the last three weeks has proved why I am still playing darts and I am one of the best players in the world.”
