Mum blasted for parking like 'an absolute idiot' gets revenge on unkind stranger

A 30-year-old mum got the last laugh after a disrespectful stranger branded her “an absolute idiot”. Upon returning to her Skoda Fabia and pulling out, Shannon Kain noticed a note discreetly tucked under her windscreen wiper.

Cautious of a potential ruse by thieves, the mother of three continued driving and stopped at a bustling nearby pub, where her friend retrieved the note for her.

Written in block capitals, the message criticised Shannon for parking like “an absolute idiot,” alleging that her car obstructed emergency vehicles. However, the ironic twist unfolded when it became apparent that the note’s author had misspelled “emergency.”

Shannon took to social media to address the anonymous note-writer, highlighting that other drivers were guilty of double parking in the area, not her.

“We went round the corner, my friend got out of the car and got it for me. Once we’d parked up we were like ‘oh my God, I can’t believe it’.”

Shannon’s Facebook post in response to the note read: “To the lovely person who left this on my car last night on [road name redacted]. I am a new driver and admittedly aren’t brilliant at parking just yet, however I’m far from inconsiderate.

“I made sure before leaving my car there was plenty of room for cars/vans or even bigger to get through. My car is absolutely tiny so I really believe the ’emergency’ services definitely would have been able to get through.”

She continued: “As you mention consideration though, where was your consideration? As I said, I’m a new driver.. I’d had my car for five days when you posted your little anonymous note.

“If you have a problem please feel free to message me! And while you’re at it grab a dictionary too and learn how to spell EMERGENCY before you leave notes on other people’s property… because now you look even more stupid.”
