Mona Lisa vandalised by eco-zealots at the Louvre gallery in Paris


Two climate activists hurled soup over the priceless Mona Lisa at the Louvre museum in Paris.

Pictures from the scenes show the painting, the frame and the wall splattered with an orange liquid.

Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, believed to be one of the most valuable paintings in existence, is unlikely to have been damaged by the eco-warriors as the artwork is covered by glass.
