Mitchell Robinson plans to play in Game 1 of NBA Finals after undergoing surgery on broken pinky in Knicks boost

Knicks center Mitchell Robinson underwent surgery on his broken right pinky finger and plans to play in Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Finals on Wednesday, according to ESPN.

Robinson is believed to have sustained the injury in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cavaliers, when the Knicks completed their four-game sweep of Cleveland.

The Knicks will face either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, with the teams clashing in Game 7 on Saturday in Oklahoma City.
