A gunman has reportedly stormed a school before opening fire, killing two people and injuring 20 others. The gunman opened fire in broad daylight and sprayed dozens of rounds at a group standing on a sidewalk across from a high school in Minneapolis on August 26, authorities said.
In a statement on x Minnesota’s 41st Governor Tim Walz said he is “praying” for the kids and parents caught up in todays horrific incident.
He said: “I’ve been briefed on a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School and will continue to provide updates as we get more information. The BCA and State Patrol are on scene. I’m praying for our kids and teachers whose first week of school was marred by this horrific act of violence.”
