Met Office weather warnings extended as 97mph Storm Jocelyn to rage on


The Met Office has extended its yellow weather warnings for strong winds, as the UK braces to be hit by Storm Jocelyn within hours.

The forecaster is predicting gale force winds across the UK stretching from northern Scotland, all the way down to the East Midlands.

The weather warnings are now in place until 4pm today, having been issued at 3pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, January 23).
