The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for rain in parts of the southwest and southeast.

Yellow weather warnings have been issued for East of England, London & South East England and South West England.

Those in affected areas may experience disruption on roads, trains or bus services with flooding likely.

The Met Office issued a post on X showing where and when the rain will hit the UK.

Brits should keep up to date with latest weather announcements and check latest details before travelling.

The Met Office says yellow warning means Brits in imapcted areas should expect “spells of rain, heavy in places, likely to lead to some disruption on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.”

Disruptions to bus and train services may occur with journey times taking longer. On the roads, there may be spray and flooding which could also lead to longer journey times. If you plan to travel, make sure to leave extra time to allow for any disruptions.

Flooding of some homes and businesses is likely in affected areas with some interruption to power supplies and other services likely.

This comes after Storm Bert brought heavy rainfall and strong winds over the weekend which led to homes, roads and rail networks facing major issues.

Yesterday, authorities in South Wales declared a major incident after the aftermath of Storm Bert severely impacted the area.
