The Met Gala, the pinnacle of the fashion calendar, is back with its eye-watering ticket prices and strict age limit.
Those who do attend the Met Gala at Anna Wintour’s chossing are set to dazzle the world – but at a steep cost.
It’s been revealed that attendees have had to fork out a staggering $30,000 for the privilege of gracing the annual event.
The price for an individual ticket to the gala has skyrocketed as Vogue’s editor-in-chie continues to orchestrate a memorable show.
If you fancy a table at the New York bash, be prepared to shell out a jaw-dropping $275,000.

“They have their look ready even if they aren’t certain of whether they will actually have a seat days before the event.”
It appears the guest list for these swanky events isn’t set in stone, with anywhere between 200-800 elite attendees receiving an invitation.
Yet, one steadfast rule is that all guests must be adults; this was firmly established in 2018 when Maddie Ziegler disclosed she was barred from attending because she was merely 15-years-old.
The event’s organiser clarified to THR: “It’s not an appropriate event for people under 18.”
This over-18s policy hasn’t always been strictly enforced, as evidenced by Jaden and Willow Smith making appearances in 2016 when they were just 17 and 15.
However, it seems there’s a bit of wiggle room in the age restriction, with younger style icons being allowed to attend under the wing of their parents.
