Meghan Markle has reminisced on her time as a member of the Girl Scouts as a child in episode four of her new series, With Love, Meghan. Joined by her friend Delfina Blaquier – who is the wife of Prince Harry’s friend Nacho Figueras – the pair take a hike in the beautiful California outdoors whilst waiting for their Focaccia dough to rise.
Asked by Delfina about her time as a Girl Scout, Meghan said: “I was a Girl Scout for so many years. I started as a Daisy, which is when you’re five or six and I sold a lot of cookies.” Whilst sharing a few never-before-seen adorable snaps of her during her childhood – and during her days in Scouting – Meghan added: “My mum [Doria Ragland] was my troop leader. Troop 949.”
The Duchess of Sussex’s new show, With Love, Meghan, premiered this morning on the streaming platform worldwide.
It shows Meghan in a rented £5million mansion close to her home she shares with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Joined by a host of celebrity friends, including chef Roy Choi, Meghan shares cooking and hosting tips with the viewers.
The show, which boasts eight episodes, has the mood tags “relaxing”, “feel-good” and “lifestyle”. According to Netflix, the show shows Meghan inviting the guests to “a beautiful California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips”
It also features appearances from comedian and actress Mindy Kaling and Meghan’s former Suits co-star, Abigail Spencer.
