Meghan Markle's sweet nod to her engagement pics with Prince Harry during Canada trip

Meghan Markle’s outfit during her recent trip to Canada appeared to be a sweet reminder of her engagement photos with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex was in British Columbia for events marking one year until the Invictus Games 2025.

She was seen wearing white trousers, a cream sweater and a long coat, topped off with a cosy blue hat. Her sweater looked very similar to the Victoria Beckham cashmere one she wore for her official engagement photos back in December 2017. While it’s not confirmed if it’s the same sweater, they do look alike.

Meghan also wore her three-stone engagement ring that Harry used to propose.

The Duchess of Sussex been seen without it at the Invictus Games last September as it was being fixed because a setting came loose.

Royal Family members often wear gloves as they help keep clean and hygienic, especially when meeting many people at events where handshakes and close contact are common.

Princess Diana frequently wore gloves at events or engagements. The former Princess of Wales also loved wearing beige-coloured coats, making Meghan’s outfit even more reminiscent of something her mother-in-law would have worn.

The Duchess looked very elegant in a £1,028 Sentaler cape in a dark camel colour, with shawl collar details, and a belt that highlighted her waist.
