Meghan Markle's sweet comment about first Christmas with Royal Family resurfaces

Meghan Markle has previously shared her favourite part about spending Christmas with the Royal Family.

The former Suits actress spent her first Christmas with the royals in 2017, before she was married to Prince Harry.

Despite it not being traditional for couples to attend a royal Christmas before they are married, it’s said that the late Queen allowed Meghan to join them.

Meghan once revealed: “I remember so vividly the first Christmas at Sandringham, calling my mom, and she’s like ‘How’s it going?’ and I said ‘Oh my gosh it’s amazing’.

“It’s just like a big family like I always wanted. And there was just this constant movement and energy and fun.”

Prince Harry shared some sweet details about his family’s Christmas on BBC Radio 4 back in December 2017.

He said: “The family loved having her there. There’s always that family part of Christmas [where] there’s always that work element there as well, and I think together we had an amazing time.

“We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running around with the kids. Christmas was fantastic.”

He also made a joke about the big Royal Family: “I think we’ve got one of the biggest families that I know of, and every family is complex as well.”

But he was full of praise for Meghan, saying she did an “amazing job” and felt like “the family I suppose that she’s never had.”
