Meghan Markle's Suits co-star admits to 'zero communication' and 'scared' to talk to her

Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star, Patrick J. Adams has admitted he is “scared” to talk to the Duchess adding that they now have “zero-communcation”.

Patrick played Michael Ross in the hit legal drama series, that has smashed several online viership records. His character had an on-screen relationship with Meghan, who starred as Rachel Zane for seven seasons.

Asked by the Hollywood Reporter whether he and Meghan have spoken.

He simply replied: “Zero. No, no communication.”

This is despite the fact Meghan’s co-stars in Suits were invited to the Sussexes’ wedding in 2018. Patrick, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty were among those in attendance.

Adams also addressed his relationship with Meghan in 2020, admitting that he was “too intimidated” and a “little scared” to reach out to the Duchess.

He told the Radio Times: “Quite frankly, I think I’m intimidated. I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment, but I don’t know what I would say.

“After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I’m a little scared. I think it’s pure fear.

“I guess I’m scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation.”

He added that it was “wild to watch” Meghan’s life change as she moved from her acting career to a new adventure with the Royal Family.

Patrick continued: “We’ve spoken and texted a couple of times, but Meghan’s life is incredibly full and she’s been navigating a lot.

“We don’t spend any time together, but that’s not because of anything other than how completely enormous her life has become in so many ways.”

Harry and Meghan now live in California having decided to leave the Royal Family.

The couple have criticised the Firm on a number of occasions in interviews, a Netflix series, and in Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’.

Following Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Patrick said the monarchy was “toxic, archaic, and shameless.”

He said in a post on Twitter, now X: “She fell in love, moved to a new country, became a household name across the entire globe and began the difficult work of trying to find her place in a family dynamic that can at best be described as complicated and at worst, seemingly archaic and toxic.”

Reports in recent weeks have suggested that Meghan could star in a new Suits spin-off, marking an unexpected return to acting.

However, the reports remain just rumours for now with the Duchess not commenting publicly on the speculation.
