Meghan Markle's new project tipped to fail: 'Everything she does is a flop!'


Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle brand – American Riviera Orchard – has been tipped to fail because of her previous “flop” projects.

The Duchess of Sussex launched the new brand in March. She will sell home essentials such as food, home decor, and other items.

This week, Meghan promoted her new strawberry jam via the Instagram accounts of her influencer friends.

Consultant and commentator Peter Barnes told TalkTV: “It will be interesting to see where this goes because i do think this is her last-ditched attempt. Let’s be honest, everything else has been a flop or they have watched it because they hate it.

“I think that is kind of her brand now. People hate-watch it.”

Broadcaster Lois Perry said “Gardening? I don’t think it is going to be renewed” before adding: “I don’t hold out much hope. do you? Not gardening and polo.”

Mr Barnes added: “On the polo thing, apparently it is an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the world of polo. I bet that might be quite interesting if it was done by anyone else.”

Their comments come after the news broke last week that Harry and Meghan will release two Netflix shows – one focusing on lifetyle while the other goes behind the scenes in the world of polo.

Netflix has said of the polo series: “Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”

The first show will explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship”, while the other will give “unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.”
