Meghan Markle's new brand follows very profitable but different Royal Family tradition

Waitrose teamed up with a brand in 1992 and now, 30 years on, they’ve made over £30 million for The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund. This fund helps make communities better.

In 2021, Waitrose got £3.6 million from it. Meghan is going to tell more about her new project soon, and someone who knows says it’s something she really cares about.

A source told Page Six: “She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart – all the things she’s passionate about.”

Another source added to the Daily Mail: “It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard. The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix. Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc.”

Page Six found out that American Riviera Orchard wants to sell lots of things for the home like yummy jellies, jams, and stuff to put on toast, plus things you need for your table like knives and forks, napkins, and glasses. They might even sell cookbooks.

After the announcement of Meghan’s new venture hit social media, fans got super excited.

One person tweeted on X, which used to be called Twitter: “Mother is about to feed us. I am too excited for whatever this is, Meghan we’re ready baby.”

Someone else wrote: “I’d recognize that calligraphy work from a mile away,”.

Another fan said: “Guys this is not a drill! ! ! ! She’s back! I’m excited to see what American Riviera Orchard is all about! Great things are coming.”

And another fan was thrilled, saying: “Meghan is back on Instagram baby! This is bound to break Beyonce’s internet baby! I’m so excited for this I sign up so fast!!! Our girl is back!!!! #AmericanRivieraOrchard.”
