Meghan Markle made a candid admission this week about one of the things that encourages her to be a “better boss”. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has had a busy 2025 so far, juggling parenthood with the launch of her new Netflix show, her brand, As Ever, and her new podcast.

While balancing parenting with work may be stressful, Prince Harry’s wife revealed this week that certain moments with her children actually help energise her when it comes to her business. In a new interview with Fast Company, the Duchess said that her son, Prince Archie, six, lost his first tooth recently, with Meghan getting to step into the shoes of the tooth fairy.

As well as leaving some money under his pillow, Meghan also left a small dinosaur, which her son Archie found in the middle of the night.

This resulted in the young royal getting excited, even waking up Meghan at around 2am to share his discovery.

While this may have resulted in less sleep for the As Ever founder, Meghan said that “mom moments” like this help energise her.

Recalling the moment, the Duchess said: “I had a lot of business meetings the next morning, but I still chose to cuddle with him the rest of the night.

“Those mom moments energise me to be a better founder, a better employer, a better boss.”
