Meghan Markle’s big product reveal ‘thoroughly disappointing’ as expert blasts launch


Meghan Markle has soft-launched her lifestyle website American Riviera Orchard with the release of a new product, but the big reveal has left one royal expert “thoroughly disappointed”.

Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex’s friends started popping up on social media thanking her for the products she had sent to them. Meghan reportedly sent out 50 strawberry jams.

But To Di For Daily’s Kinsey Schofield has been left far from impressed, telling Daily Express US: “I think the idea of a big DIY jam launch, with peeling labels, is thoroughly disappointing.

“When you acknowledge the fact that Harry and Meghan have had very little success since stepping back from the British Royal Family.”

It appears that so far, Meghan is relying on her friends to get the word out on the first product from her hotly-anticipated new lifestyle brand.

The royal expert sees this as “wasted potential” and it’s all because of “ego2 that Harry and Meghan put themselves before the institution.

According to Schofield, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be “heroes today” if they had been more patient and more respectful.

But for now, she believes: “It feels like an episode of the Twilight Zone.”
