Meghan Markle flew back from the Invictus Games on a private jet flight that could have cost up to $30,000.
The Duchess of Sussex hsa returned to Montecito in California to spend time with her and Prince Harry’s children Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet, while her husband remains at the Vancouver sporting spectacle.
She flew back to see her two children on jet believed to have cost up to $9 million (£7.1 million), which the couple is also thought to have used last week.
The average cost of hiring a jet of that size ranges from $7,000 (£5,500) to $10,000 (£8,000) per hour.
That means Meghan’s flight home could have cost between $21,000 (£16,700) and $30,000 (£24,000), according to the Mailonline.
The Suits star touched down at Santa Barbara Airport at 5.01pm on Tuesday after supporting Harry at his first Invictus Winter Games.
Flight logs for the Bombardier CL-600 luxury jet reveal it stopped in Seattle for around 30 minutes before departing again for its final destination, MailOnline reports.
According to the outlet, Meghan left Vancouver at 2.06 pm local time on February 11 and touched down in Seattle at 2.40 pm
The jet departed again at 3.14pm and landed in Santa Barbara nearly two hours later.
Meghan is now thought to be back at home with the children after spending five days in Vancouver.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was pictured enjoying a pint in the stands while watching the wheelchair basketball last night.
The Duke of Sussex looked tense as he watched the final of the wheelchair basketball, having earlier watched France defeat the UK in the final of the wheelchair rugby.
He is set to remain in Canada until the end of the Invictus Games on Sunday.
Prince Archie, five, and three-year-old Princess Lilibet were “cheering” Harry and the Games on at home in California.
As reported by PEOPLE, Harry felt it was “amazing” to have his wife with him in support of the Invictus Games.
Speaking to the publication, Harry said: “To have my wife here supporting me is amazing. I love that she’s by my side. It’s such an important piece to this whole adventure.”
The former actress was seen sharing a kiss with her husband whilst watching the opening ceremony on Saturday – as well as the previous evening whilst welcoming Harry to the stage ahead of the start of the Games.
