Meghan Markle “would create guaranteed headlines across the world” if she returns to acting with a Suits spin-off role, a PR expert has claimed.,
The former actress left the show in its seventh season after her character Rachel Zane married Mike Ross and moved to Seattle. She has not starred in a major TV series since marrying Prince Harry in May 2018.
Suits creator Aaron Korsh recently announced a spin-off show, and fans believe there is one role that could be perfect for the Duchess of Sussex.
The character, a career-focused Californian girl, named Erica, in her 30s who is “smarter than everyone” and has a very eventful personal life, is one that fans thinks Meghan would be well suited for.
PR expert Matt Yanofsky agrees, but said there could be one problem.

He told The Mirror: “However, she might want to consider a lower fee in exchange for some creative control over her character.”
The PR expert suggested Meghan’s character “should not be in storylines or situations which Meghan would morally disagree with or would present her in a negative light.”
He added: “In order for this to be a win for Meghan, ‘Erica’ should embody some of her positive values and mannerisms. Aaron Korsh could also help the Duchess of Sussex by writing scenes that allow the full scale of her acting talents to be seen and present her character as deserving of empathy.”
Korsh’s new show is being developed by NBCUniversal.
It’s currently unclear if any of the original Suits cast will make an appearance in the new series.
The growing speculation about Meghan’s potential return to Suits comes after her co-star Patrick said he “hopes she comes back”.
He spoke about a potential spinoff for Suits at the Golden Globe Awards and said: “Yes, yes let’s go, I’ll do it. Yeah I’m ready, Mike and Rachel in Seattle.”
